Also referred to as opalized ammonite, these rare gems are primarily found along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Hand carved into a heart and set simply to let nature shine, this fossilized beauty is composed of the same mineral contained in nacre, which give pearls their rare and treasured luster.
