Iolite comes from the Greek 'ion', which means violet. Iolite is usually a purplish blue, when cut properly, with a softness to the color that is quite attractive. It is similar to precious gemstone sapphire and semi precious gemstone tanzanite but is not expensive as these two because it is found in huge quantity. It is believed that the possessor of this gem leads to successful management of money and is free from all sorts of debts.

Labradorite is treasured for its remarkable play of color, known as labradorescence often referred to as the stone’s “fire”. Wearing or carrying Labradorite allows one's innate magical powers to surface. It enhances the mental and intuitive abilities of clairvoyance. It tempers the negative side of our personality and brings out the best in people.
Onyx is a finely-grained Quartz. It is typically opaque but can be a solid color or banded. A Black Onyx Stone is a powerful protective crystal that helps to shield the mind and body from negative energy.

Opal’s are one of the most spectacular of the gemstones.  A single gemstone can flash every color of the spectrum with an intensity and quality referred to as “fire”.  We often use Boulder Opals which is a term used for a rough or cut gemstone that displays opal within its host rock. It’s a stone of wisdom and royalty, and was believed to bring protection, good fortune and spiritual insight.  It is forever associated with sacred things and considered the gem of gems.
Sugilite is one of the best stones for those who are highly sensitive and take on whatever energies are around them. Wear or carry Sugilite to create a warm, protective “shield of Light”. It is typically a grape jelly purple color and can be opaque and sometimes comes in unusual colors.
Sunstone is named for its warm shades of gold, orange, reds and browns that sparkle like the sun. Sunstone carries the energy of Ra, the sun god, whose energy brings all potential life from within the Earth.
Tanzanite is a very rare kind of stone, occurring only in a small place in Tanzania. Like other blue gems tanzanite brings a cooling effect over one’s body and mind. When life becomes chaotic under tremendous pressure tanzanite is believed to bring the composure of self.
